Breezway will be updating Altair Louvre Handle Slots to be shortened to correspond to the travel of the handles.
| At Breezway, we are committed to providing high-quality and durable products that meet the needs of our customers. As part of this commitment, we have recognized an issue with our Altair® Louvre Galleries that has led to some users inadvertently damaging the louvre mechanism due to excess force. We understand that this can be frustrating and costly for our customers, which is why we have taken steps to address the issue. Specifically, we will be shortening the handle slot lengths in galleries with restricted openings to correspond to the travel of the handles. This will make it easier for users to operate the louvres without applying excess force and potentially damaging the mechanism. We are confident that this adjustment will improve the overall user experience with our Altair® Louvre Galleries and ensure that they remain a reliable and efficient solution for years to come. Products affected include: 152mm Altair® Louvre Galleries with openings restricted at 100mm 152mm Altair® Louvre Galleries with openings restricted at 80mm 102mm Altair® Louvre Galleries with openings restricted at 80mm 152mm Altair® Louvre Galleries for the Dualair® System Effective date: This change will apply to all orders received from 1st June, 2020. Altair® Louvres with restricted openings, but with full length handle slots, which are required to match existing jobs will be available on request.
