Uniting Bowden Brae Retirement Village and Independent Living

NORMANHURST, NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA

The Uniting Bowden Brae Retirement Village in Normanhurst, which is part of the Hornsby area, has undergone a significant renovation.

The renovation of the existing 106-bed residential aged care facility is focused on enhancing the quality of life for its residents.

The aged care facility is designed to mirror the comforts of home living, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for all to enjoy.
Everyone needs to feel safe and secure, so the inclusion of Breezway Altair Louvre Windows using the Stronghold System in the wintergardens allows year-round additional living space. The Stronghold System is fall prevention compliant and is ideal for wintergarden applications to offer ventilation and privacy from neighbouring apartments and street views.

This project also includes the addition of 137 newly constructed independent living units inside the complex for contemporary living with a range of one, two and three-bedroom layouts, along with communal spaces, a wellness centre, a café, a hair and beauty salon, and a swimming pool.
