Introducing the new Powerlouvre™ Apptivate® Advance Control Unit and Powerlouvre™ Advance App
The Powerlouvre™ System can now be easily operated by the new Apptivate® Advance Control Unit or remotely through the new Powerlouvre™ Advance App for Bluetooth® compatible devices. This offers convenience and accessibility for a more naturally comfortable environment.
Features include:
- Improved touch sensitive wall switch designed to easily control airflow.
- Automatic response to an in-built temperature sensor allowing rooms to be naturally cooled or windows closed to retain warmth when required.
- Pre-set timers allowing windows to operate in anticipation of the building occupant’s daily routine.
Operating the Powerlouvre™ System with Apptivate® Advance Control Units
A single Powerlouvre™ Advance App can connect to multiple Apptivate® Advance Control Units within Bluetooth range. Each Apptivate® Advance Control Unit can be named within the App for easy identification. For added convenience, users can operate their Powerlouvre™ Windows via connected Apptivate® Advance Control Units that are associated to the App altogether at once or control them individually.
Operating the Powerlouvre™ System by Multiple Powerlouvre™ Advance Apps
Associations can be established between multiple Powerlouvre™ Advance Apps and each Apptivate® Advance Control Unit to allow occupants to control the windows from their Bluetooth devices. However please note that only one Powerlouvre™ Advance App will be able to maintain an active Bluetooth connection with an Apptivate® Advance Control Unit at any given time.
Compatible Devices
To access all the functionality the Apptivate® Advance Control Unit can offer, the Powerlouvre™ Advance App is downloadable from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Compatible with:
- Apple devices running iOS 12.0 or newer.
- Android devices running Android 10.0 or newer.
Sizing, Configurations & Wiring of the Powerlouvre™ Apptivate® Advance Control Unit
The Apptivate® Advance Control Unit matches common wall switch sizes. This makes upgrading from a Bell-Press Switch or older Apptivate Control Units a simple matter or unwiring the old switch/unit and reconnecting existing wiring to the Apptivate Advance Control Unit.
The Apptivate® Advance Control Unit has a 5mm spacer that sets it out from the wall, providing an elegant shadow line around the unit’s perimeter allowing it to visually stand off the wall.
The Powerlouvre™ System Motor and Apptivate® Advance Control Unit requires 24v DC power. Up to 12 Powerlouvre™ Motors can be wired to each Apptivate® Advance Control Unit. The Bluetooth signal works best within 10 metres and has the strongest connection when there is a clear line of sight to the Apptivate® Advance Control Unit.
Warranty
All electronic components are warranted for three (3) years.
